Mickey7 is an Expendable, a disposable worker assigned the most dangerous jobs. When he dies, which he inevitably will, his body is regenerated and sent out to work – and die – again. When Mickey7 does not return from a job and is presumed dead, a new clone is called up. Unfortunately for both Mickey7and Mickey8, duplicates are not allowed. Now they have to work together to keep their secret if they are going to survive.
