In honor of the 150th anniversary of Sergei Rachmaninoff’s birth, DGMC member Tatiana Shustova performs a piano recital with selections of Rachmaninoff’s beautiful piano pieces.
Dr. Tatiana Shustova was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia, where she studied at the Rimsky-Korsakov Music School and the Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory. She also participated in piano and chamber music master classes at the Music Hochschule in Leipzig, Germany, in collaboration with New York’s Juilliard School. Tatiana is currently an adjunct faculty member at Millikin University School of Music, where she is collaborative pianist and piano class professor, as well as piano, chamber music, theory and musicianship instructor for the Illinois String Academy and Piano Laboratory Program at UIUC.
