ONLINE True Crime Fascination

Professor Amanda Vicary discusses some of her research into why people, especially women, are drawn to true crime and also discusses two central Illinois cases of potential wrongful convictions.

Amanda Vicary is the chair of the psychology department at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois, where she teaches classes and conducts research related to crime and the criminal justice system. Her work has been covered by media outlets worldwide, and she's appeared on numerous podcasts and TV shows, including for ID TV and Oxygen.
