Margaret Schlesinger gives a behind-the-scenes look at the creation of and recent renovation of the gallery, including restoring, interpreting, and commissioning new models of historic ships.
Margaret Schlesinger, freelance curator, has enjoyed an impressive career as a curator, manager, and director. She spent four years at The International Museum of Surgical Science, Chicago as Museum Director and Curator; six years as the City of Chicago’s Public Art Program’s first Collections Manager/Conservation Manager; fourteen years as Head Curator at the Museum of Science and Industry
