Heather A. Hathaway Miranda, M.A.(CEO/Founder, Hathaway Miranda LLC) is an award-winning bilingual, bicultural international speaker, DEI consultant, racial healing practitioner, educator/researcher, and life coach. She is a well-traveled, highly articulate servant leader with a passion to empower underserved communities through education rooted in advocacy efforts to raise consciousness about multi-layered issues locally, nationally, and internationally. She has over 25 years of professional experience in many diverse roles, including as a: bilingual/bicultural educator & researcher, motivational speaker, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion consultant, racial healing practitioner, Spanish high school teacher, and a professor of Latina/o/x Studies, Spanish, Child Development, Family Studies, & Education. She is a self-taught photographer, a survivor of domestic violence, former caregiver to a parent who died from cancer, and mother of a compassionate 9-year-old. Heather is a proud military spouse to an Army officer who has served 31 years. She enjoys mentoring, taking road trips, and planting seeds for positive change. Heather has traveled to over 35 countries, all 50 U.S. States, and over 25 National Parks. She is the Founder and Owner of Hathaway Miranda LLC through which she offers keynote speaking, workshop facilitation, consulting, teaching, and racial healing. Some of Heather’s clients include the American Medical Association, Ballet Hispánico, R.Evolución Latina, Michigan State University, the University of Illinois, Universidad de Guanajuato, AARP, Windy City Rollers, and other nonprofits, universities, and organizations.
