Similar to a regular book club, except we will take the book club meeting outside for a walking discussion of the novel News of the World by Paulette Jiles. Registration through DG Park District.
The beauty and simplicity of a Walking Book Club is that it covers three essentials to a healthy brain—mental, physical and social activity. Pre-registration is required through the Downers Grove Park District. We will meet at Patriots Park-Barth Pond, 501 55th Pl, Downers Grove, IL 60515, in the parking lot at the trailhead.
This program will meet every other Tuesday on 6/21, 7/5, 7/19, and 8/2.
Copies of the book will be available at the Downers Grove Library, at the Second Floor Ask Us Desk, one month before the book club begins (DGPL library card or a card from another SWAN library required to check out book).
