Join us for a lively evening with NYT bestselling author Jasmine Guillory as she discusses the importance of real life and the modern rom-com. In conversation with author Morgan Rogers.
Jasmine Guillory is a writer, lawyer and New York Times bestselling author of six romance novels, including "The Wedding Date," "The Proposal," and "While We Were Dating." NPR called The Proposal, “Rollicking, charming, and infinitely zesty.” Her work has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, Bon Appetit, and Time. She lives in Oakland, California where she has a towering stacks of books in her living room, a cake recipe for every occasion, and upwards of 50 lipsticks.
Morgan Rogers is a queer Black millennial. She writes books for queer girls who are looking for their place in the world. She lives in Maryland with her pets. Her 2021 debut novel Honey Girl, is a LibraryReads Pick and a Recommended Read by Oprah Magazine, which describes it as a "soul-stirring rom-com in reverse."
