Through dramatic monologue, poetry, and song, Ms. Maddox captures the spirit of Ms. Tubman, giving a powerful glimpse of the charismatic life of Lady Moses. Mrs. Tubman, whose undaunted dedication to a better society, has emphatically impacted the course of history.
Cynthia Maddox is a Chicago actress, director, vocalist, playwright, and producer, and portrays the lives of a wide range of African-American heroines.
