Downers Grove Public Library
Meeting Room Both (Max Capacity 100)Don’t miss these engaging conversations designed to support teens in learning about, understanding, and managing their social, emotional, and mental health.
Part of the Teen Life: Conversations with NAMI DuPage series, this workshop will consider that while ADHD is a common mental health condition that affects all ages, how does it manifest and how can it be managed? Understand how ADHD impacts the brain, learning, and behavior (including differences in how it presents across genders). While ADHD comes with challenges, this workshop highlights unique strengths like out-of-the-box thinking. You will leave the presentation with practical tools to help your child stay organized.
Registration opens 2 weeks before the event.
