Read to the Dogs

Register with the Kids Room

Grades 1 - 8. Reading to dogs can improve children’s reading and communication skills - it’s also fun! Please be aware that your child will be reading alone to the therapy dog.

Schedule a 15-minute time slot by calling the Kids Room Desk at (630) 960-1200. No online registration. Registration opens two weeks before the program date. Contact the Kids Room Desk at kidsdesk@dglibrary.org with questions.

For grades 1-8.

Register beginning December 26 for the January 8th session.

Register beginning January 29 for the February 12th session.
