Learn how color and creativity can be used to explore emotions, and see how art can support mental health and self-expression from a certified Art Therapist.
Participants will be guided through a hands-on activity called “Feelings in Color”. Each person will receive paper and a selection of markers or colored pencils, and colored construction paper. Using color, shapes, and lines (instead of words), they will be invited to express how they are feeling in the moment. Afterward, participants can share as much or as little as they feel comfortable, and the group will reflect together on how creative expression can provide new insight into emotions.
