Storyteller Megan Wells’ passion and energy bring the story of Miep Gies to life in front of your eyes. Miep Gies was one of the Dutch citizens who hid Anne Frank, her family and others during World War II and who saved Anne Frank’s papers. The program will include the 3 movement piano duet Divertimento, composed during this time by Dutch composer Leo Smit. Megan Wells is a respected and experienced story and theater artist. She is known for creating an intimate storytelling atmosphere, infusing her characters with living souls, and delivering the experience with delicious theatrical timing. Chris Garofalo and Charlotte Ewing will provide the piano music.
